Greetings of the Season
From Greta, Rod, Maggie and Irene!
Welcome to the first monthly e-news from Good Times Press! We want to tell you about the new friends we are making and the fun we are having as word of Maggie's book, Moonlight Memoirs - Remembering That Family and Friends Are Forever, spreads around the globe! We especially want you to meet our new friend, Henry the cat. Henry is becoming a very dear friend to the two young mice in Maggie's story and we are thoroughly enjoying his company!
Maggie Mei wrote Moonlight Memoirs in 2006 when she was thirteen years old. She found her illustrator, Melody Lea Lamb, on eBay and we formed a publishing company, Good Times Press, to allow Maggie full control over the creative process. Moonlight Memoirs is a story about two young mice who venture out one moonlit winter's night. They meet an older mouse who, along with other animal friends, teaches the mice about the eternal nature of love. Check out our website at www.moonlightmemoirs.com for more information about Maggie, Melody, and Moonlight Memoirs.
Maggie and Melody at the Baltimore Book Fest
August 26, 2009 was the official publication date for Moonlight Memoirs. Since then, we've experienced many "firsts", including Maggie and Melody meeting for the first time, Maggie's first presentation and book signing at Families with Children from China (FCC) Maryland's Autumn Fair, and Maggie's first newspaper and cable channel appearances. For details about these events, visit What's Happening at our website.

It is distributed to libraries through Quality Books, Inc and to bookstores through Partners Book Distributing. Sales are steadily increasing and most importantly, Maggie's comforting message of eternal love is reaching more and more people!
