~Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors~
We are thrilled to announce that we joined hands with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 2009 when we donated 224 books to their Washington DC headquarters. TAPS, a national non-profit 501(c)3 Veterans Service Organization, was founded by Bonnie Carroll in 1994 to provide on-going compassionate support to all who are grieving the death of a loved one in military service to America. Moonlight Memoirs will become a part of the resource kit sent to survivors entering the TAPS program. If you would like to offer your support to these military families, you may do so by donating a copy of Moonlight Memoirs to TAPS at our website www.moonlightmemoirs.com. ~Henry, JM and Dolly Dog~
We are beginning another very exciting partnership with Henry, Just Me and his friend, Dolly Dog. Henry is a three-legged cat who teaches humans about survival, courage, perseverance, and triumph over barriers and bias. Dolly's mission is to help humans learn to express their feelings in ways that don’t harm themselves or others. The two young mice from Moonlight Memoirs (Flanders and Aloua) are joining Henry and Dolly to reassure humans that love lasts forever and that all is well no matter what happens to our loved ones.
