It's spring at last! Welcome to the monthly newsletter from Good Times Press. Herein you will find the latest happenings with Moonlight Memoirs - Remembering That Family and Friends Are Forever, written by Maggie Mei Lewis and illustrated by Melody Lea Lamb.
Highlights from March
Targeted Media Release and Blog Ads - We've had a good response from last month's Targeted Media Release and the blog ads. This is just the beginning and we look forward to telling more people about Moonlight Memoirs as a result of these marketing efforts.
The Bologna Italy Children's Book Fair - Moonlight Memoirs was displayed at this international book fair last month in the Foreword Reviews booth. We hope to hear soon from international publishers interested in translating Moonlight Memoirs into their respective languages.
Self-Publishing, Inc published an article in their March newsletter titled "Publishing a Teen Author", written by Greta Johnson (Maggie's mom).
Events on the Horizon
Book Signing - Maggie will be signing Moonlight Memoirs at the Annapolis Mall Borders Bookstore on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM. If you are in the area, stop by to say hi!
Annapolis Book Festival (Key School in Annapolis) - At 11 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2010, Maggie will be participating with other authors in a round table discussion entitled "Topics in Young Adult Fiction". Moonlight Memoirs will be available for purchase.
Kid's Connection Conference - On Sunday, April 18, 2010, Maggie will be giving a presentation about her experiences as a teen author at this annual event sponsored by Adoptions Together, Inc. Moonlight Memoirs will be available for purchase.
First Sunday Arts Festival - Look for Maggie at this monthly art fair held on West Street and surrounds in Annapolis, Maryland on Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Stay tuned for more fun in the months ahead, including book signings, the Maryland African-American Author's Expo, Book Expo America, and the Beijing International Book Fair.
The Rest of the Story
Provide comfort to a military family who is grieving the loss of a loved one by donating a copy of Moonlight Memoirs to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
