May Day, Hay Day!
Welcome to the monthly newsletter from Good Times Press. Herein you will find the latest happenings with Moonlight Memoirs - Remembering that Family and Friends are Forever, written by Maggie Mei Lewis and illustrated by Melody Lea Lamb. We are having a "hay day" of a time with marketing, presentations and book signings!
Highlights from April
The Annapolis Book Festival - Maggie participated with other authors in a panel discussion which focused on writing for the young adult market. She made new friends and signed some books!

Book Signing at Borders - Our local Borders staff set up a lovely display of Moonlight Memoirs in exactly the right location and the attendance was great!
Adoption Together's Kids Connection Conference - What fun to participate in this yearly conference sponsored by our adoption agency. We thank Adoptions Together, Inc. for their continued support of Maggie and Moonlight Memoirs.
The Navy Nurse Corps Association Reunion - Thanks to the Navy Nurses who included Moonlight Memoirs in their annual event, this year held in San Diego. Wish we could have been there too!
NOMIS Publications included a review of Moonlight Memoirs in the April issue of Funeral Home and Cemetery News. Through this channel, we know that Maggie's message of comfort and hope will find its way to those who are acutely grieving.
Events on the Horizon
Talking Books TV - Next week, Maggie and Melody will be highlighted in a ten minute interview by Michelle Vandepas of Talking Books TV. This interview clip will be posted on our Youtube channel and will be sent to many targeted internet agencies. What fun!
Chinese Culture Camp - In June, Maggie will be co-leading a writing/drawing group activity at Families with Children from China Maryland's annual Chinese Culture Camp.
Maryland's African-American Authors Expo - Maggie will be attending this multi-cultural book event on August 18, 2010. More information later...
