Moonlight Memoirs wins gold Medal!
We want all our loyal newsletter readers to know that Moonlight Memoirs won a first place gold medal in the Spirituality category of the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
These book awards are sponsored by the Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group (IBPPG), an organization that promotes professional standards in independent book publishing (aka. "indie" book publishing).
Winning first place is a great honor for Maggie Mei, Melody and Good Times Press as the awards are open to independent book publishers world-wide, making it a very competitive book award.
The general announcement of all category winners and finalists will be made in early June at the Indie Book Awards website.
In about three weeks, we will receive shiny golden "First Place" seals for each copy of Moonlight Memoirs. Plus, Maggie and Melody will both receive gold medals and certificates describing their winning entry.
Additionally, Moonlight Memoirs will be listed as a Winner in the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards catalog which will be distributed at Book Expo America ("BEA") in New York City at the end of this month to thousands of attendees including book buyers, library representatives, media, industry professionals and others.
